Decibel Magazine

We were contacted by Decibel Magazine to shoot a cover image of Little Rock metal band Pallbearer, and as big fans, we were excited to jump on this project. We spoke with the bands management and coordinated with them to complete the photoshoot in a rented studio in downtown Little Rock.

The creative brief from the magazine requested the band to be photographed in a tight unit for the cover, and the band wanted to go with a psychedelic trip theme for the shoot. We shot them on a gray backdrop, and the final cover image turned out wonderful.

After the shoot, we had a little extra time with the band, so we ventured outside to shoot a few additional images against a dark sky with an illuminated bridge in the background to supplement the feature. The magazine used one of the extra images in print along with the story.
